One dog at a time
That is the whole rhythm of this shop. No line of dogs waiting their turn, just the one on the table, then the next.
“We offer one on one grooming for all breeds and all sizes of dogs.”
That is the whole setup: a small shop, and your dog gets the groomer’s full attention rather than a spot in a line. A Great Dane and a teacup poodle are equally welcome. The same goes for first-timers: the shop is currently accepting new clients.
Here since 2012
The owner opened Holy Shihtzu in 2012, after co-owning another grooming shop for five years. She started this one because she wanted, in her words, “a smaller, more relaxed environment for both myself and my clients.”
Fourteen years on, the shop is still small on purpose, still at 335 Ohio Street, and still taking new dogs.
Every dog gets the table to themselves
Big or small, that is the appointment: one dog, one groomer, nobody else’s turn to wait for.
“Buddy loves Brenda.”
