Read across the reviews and the same things keep surfacing. The fish is fresh, the portions are generous, and the staff get named as genuinely kind. More than one visitor writes some version of surprise that Blaine has sushi this good, and locals write in to say the town needed a place like this.

The honest footnotes: dine-in reviews run happier than takeout ones, where the packaging takes a few hits, and the chicken teriyaki has drawn a dry review or two even from people who praised the rest of the order. Order the kung pao knowing it comes without vegetables, one reviewer wished they had.
